The Proposed Constitution:

Name of the Organisation:

West Australian Wireless Freenet Inc; also known as WAFN, wafreenet, WAWFN.

Aims and Objectives:

The aims of the wafreenet will be to create and promote an open network that spans Western Australia utilising the public wireless spectrum.

Committee membership:

With the exception of the founding members the Western Australian FreeNet executive committee can only be comprised of members who have been financial members of the organisation for two or more consecutive years.

  • Committee will comprise of:
    • President;
    • Vice-President;
    • Treasurer;
    • Secretary;
    • Network Manager;
    • Two Ordinary Committee Members.

Membership:

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in wireless networking in Western Australia. Membership does not guarentee network access or availability.
